SCIENCE

Our science program encourages students to explore, create, and discover through hands-on learning and fun experiments. From nature and space to engineering and technology, students build problem-solving skills while growing their curiosity about the world around them. By combining science with creativity and the arts, we help students learn in exciting and meaningful ways.

COMPUTER SCIENCE

Computer science and robotics help elementary students build important skills like problem-solving, creativity, teamwork, and critical thinking from an early age. Through coding, designing, and exploring technology, students learn how to think logically while also using their imagination to create and innovate. Thanks to our Arts and Sciences Magnet Program , computer science and robotics connect naturally with creativity, helping students become confident learners and future-ready thinkers in a fun and engaging environment.

Percussion

Our Percussion program introduces students to the exciting world of rhythm through drums, xylophones, and interactive music activities. Students learn to follow beats, match rhythms, and explore musical patterns while building focus, coordination, listening skills, and creativity. Through fun and engaging experiences, students gain confidence and discover the joy of making music together.

DANCE

Our students love expressing themselves through dance and step routines, and we are proud to offer classes that introduce a variety of dance styles and concepts. Through regularly scheduled performances, students build teamwork and performance skills while sharing their creativity and artistic ideas. In a fun and encouraging environment, students gain confidence, learn to express themselves, and enjoy the excitement of dance — all thanks to our wonderful dance teacher, Mrs. Richtmeyer, who helps make Edgewood such a special place.
